Self Storage in Cairo: What It Costs and What You Get for It

Prices are in Egyptian pounds and quoted per month. If you're staying for a longer stretch, call us before you book — we'd rather agree a clear monthly fee up front than surprise anyone later.

You're paying for a private, individually locked unit inside a monitored warehouse. Nobody else shares it, and you decide what goes in. Our team is on site from 8 AM to 4 PM if you need a hand or want to come by.

What it doesn't cover: packing and transport. Most of our customers either move things themselves or hire a local moving truck for the day. If you're not sure how to arrange that, ask — we've seen enough move-in days to point you in the right direction.

Storage makes sense when the space you'd free up is worth more to you than the fee. A few examples we hear often:

• You're paying rent on a bigger apartment mainly to fit furniture you don't use.
• A shop or office is cramped with stock that doesn't need to be on the shelf every day.
• You're between homes and the alternative is leaving everything with relatives for months.
• A renovation means rooms need to be completely empty for a few weeks.

If none of those sound like you, you might genuinely not need a unit — a good clear-out could do the job. We'd rather tell you that than rent you space you don't need.

Self storage in Cairo isn't priced the same way everywhere. Some places quote per square metre of floor, others per cubic metre, others by "room". Ask for the volume of the unit, whether it's private or shared, whether it locks, and what the access hours are. Then the numbers mean something.
