Choosing a unit size is where most people overthink it — or underthink it and end up with a sofa that won't go in. Here's how we'd explain it if you were standing in the warehouse with us.
Think in rooms, not cubic metres
Cubic metres are hard to picture. Rooms are easy. A rough rule we use: a 15m³ unit takes the contents of a well-furnished bedroom plus a living room's worth of boxes, or a small one-bedroom flat if you pack tightly. A 20m³ unit is the step up for a two-bedroom apartment, or furniture plus bulky items like appliances.
These are guides, not promises. How you pack matters as much as the size — flat-packed wardrobes take a fraction of the space of assembled ones.
What fits in a 15m³ unit
- A three-seater sofa, armchairs and a coffee table
- A double bed frame and mattress, stood on its side
- A dining table with chairs stacked
- Twenty to thirty medium cartons
- A washing machine or fridge
It's our most popular size for households moving between apartments or clearing rooms for renovation. EGP 3,800 a month.
What fits in a 20m³ unit
The extra volume makes a real difference once you have big pieces. Customers have used 20m³ units for full two-bedroom homes, for business stock and equipment, and — as in the photo below — for a car plus boxes. EGP 4,900 a month.

If you're stuck between two sizes
- List the big items first: sofas, beds, wardrobes, appliances.
- Count your boxes honestly — people almost always have more than they think.
- If you'll need to reach things regularly, size up so you can leave a walkway.
- Send us your list or a few photos on WhatsApp and we'll tell you what we'd pick.
